Dr. David E. Nonweiler earned his undergraduate degree from Baylor University in 1982. Dr. Nonweiler attended medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine, graduating in 1986. His residency was completed at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Department of Orthopedics Transitional Internship in 1987, and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Department of Orthopedics Residency in 1991.
Dr. Nonweiler is a clinical instructor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Tulsa. He speaks to many groups on topics related to orthopedics.
Dr. Nonweiler is a Fellow of University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Sports Medicine Fellowship, 1992. He is certified by The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Tulsa County Orthopedic Association, and the Tulsa County Medical Society.
His sub-specialties/special interests are Total Joint Arthroplasty, Sports Medicine, and Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Shoulder, Hip, and Knee.
Dr. Nonweiler resides in Tulsa with his family.
