Dustin T. Briggs, MD is a board certified (ABOS) Orthopedic surgeon, who specializes in the treatment of hip and knee arthritis. The spectrum of his practice includes joint preservation procedures, minimally invasive partial knee replacements, total hip and knee replacements, complex revisions of hip and knee replacements, and periprosthetic fractures and infections.
He is originally from Iowa and earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa. He then completed Orthopedic surgery residency at the University of New Mexico followed by a fellowship in Adult Lower Extremity Reconstruction at Scripps Clinic, in La Jolla, California. He is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr. Briggs was in practice for four years at the University of New Mexico, in Albuquerque. He was an assistant professor and Chief of the Adult Reconstruction Division. His wife was born and raised in the Coachella Valley and they are excited to be relocating to the area. Together they have one daughter and look forward to raising her around friends and family.
