Dr. Zehr is a board-certified, fellowship-trained adult and skeletal reconstruction surgeon with 25 years of experience. He was trained and remained on staff at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation for 19 years, serving as the executive director of its branch in Naples for 6 years. Currently in private practice in Naples, Florida, Dr. Zehr has distinguished himself in perfecting the direct anterior approach total hip surgery technique; is accomplished in the Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery System for partial knee replacement and has done over 8,000 major joint and skeletal reconstructions. He has been listed in the "Best Doctors in America" for over 15 years, "Top Doctor" by Castle-Connolly each year since 2004; and has authored numerous scientific publications, taught surgeons from many national and international medical centers and performs ~500 knee and hip surgeries each year.
