A native of Canada, Vishal Ganesh, graduated from the University of Alberta with academic distinction. He completed his orthopedic residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit where he was selected as Chief Resident. He then spent a fellowship year in Minnesota studying limb lengthening and lower extremity reconstruction with world renowned surgeon, Dr Mark Dahl. Dr. Ganesh is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic surgeons.
Dr. Ganesh practices general orthopaedics with interests in hip and knee replacement and fracture management. His areas of expertise include anterior hip replacement, hip arthroscopy, Makoplasty robotic surgery, deformity correction, nonunion/malunion repair, and minimally invasive surgery. He joined Canyon in 2011.
