Dr. Barrett graduated with honors from University of Pennsylvania prior to attending medical school at the prestigious Case Western Medical School where he simultaneously received a his medical doctorate and a Master's degree in Anatomy. He went on to pursue his clinical training in the field of orthopedics at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota, studying under some of the greats in the field of joint replacement. It was there that he developed his arthroplasty skills and an abiding interest in pushing the field of orthopedics to new heights by refining the newest techniques. He ultimately went on to fellowship training at Stanford University where he continued to study and refine the use of technology in his practice. Dr. Barrett considers Mako technology the future of joint arthroplasty and he dedicated to helping push the field of orthopedics forward into the modern age.
