Dr. Leung specializes in hip and knee arthroplasty which allows patients with disabling arthritis to return to an active lifestyle. He has trained extensively in performing hip replacements from both anterior and posterior approaches, in addition to partial and total knee replacements. He prides himself on providing thorough consultations, listening closely to each patient, and personalizing treatments to their individual needs.
After completing his undergraduate degree he proceeded to work in the pharmaceutical industry to do research in bone biology where he discovered his passion for orthopedic surgery. He returned to Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where he received his Medical Degree.
Dr. Leung’s fellowship training in Robotic Hip and Knee Replacement at Holy Cross Hospital allowed him to work with leaders in the field of hip and knee replacements with a strong focus on the use of cutting-edge technology. He is well versed in the use of robotics and sensors and is committed to staying on the forefront of orthopedic technology in order to improve patient experiences and recoveries.
During his free time, Dr. Leung loves spending time outdoors and hiking with his family. He also enjoys the challenge of endurance sports and has competed in a number of triathlons and marathons.
