Dr. Doug has strong roots in the Panhandle. A native to Amarillo, he attended Amarillo High School before moving on to the University of Texas, Austin and then on to medical school in Ft. Worth. He then did his residency training in York, PA with several orthopedic rotations including pediatrics at A. I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE. Albracht Orthopedic Surgery was birthed in Dumas where Dr. Doug practiced for several years. After practicing briefly in TN and IL, he recently returned to Amarillo to once again practice with his brother.
