Visoth Chan, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist practicing at Aloha Foot and Ankle Associates in Mission Viejo, California. Aloha Foot and Ankle Associates has served the communities of South Orange County for over 30 years. Dr. Chan has continued on the tradition of providing high-quality podiatric care for individuals of all ages and all walks of life.
From an early age, Dr. Chan knew she wanted to be a podiatrist. She also understood that quality education and training experiences are at the foundation of providing excellent care and achieving exceptional results. For her undergraduate studies, she attended the University of California, San Diego, where she majored in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience. Dr. Chan then went on to study at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, California, where she earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, before completing her subsequent residency at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
She understands that podiatry is constantly evolving and improving, so she makes it a point to stay current with the latest developments in her field to ensure that patients can access the highest-quality treatments and care. To help stay up-to-date with the latest advances, she maintains professional affiliations with several organizations, including the American Podiatric Medical Association, California Podiatric Medical Association, and Orange County Podiatric Medical Association. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. She has also written several articles that have been featured in well-regarded podiatric journals.
As a skilled podiatrist, Dr. Chan treats a range of foot and ankle conditions, such as bunions, hammertoes, joint pain and swelling, heel pain, fractures, sprains, sports injuries, and much more. She is well versed in treating these foot and ankle conditions, both conservatively and surgically.
Dr. Chan is currently associated with several local hospitals and surgery centers, including Mission Regional Hospital, Saddleback Memorial Hospital, Hoag Orthopedic Institute, the Surgical Center at Saddleback, Laguna Niguel Surgery Center, Laguna Woods Surgery Center, and Mission Surgery Center. When not working, Dr. Chan enjoys traveling, reading, enjoying a heartwarming Hallmark Christmas movie, and spending time with her family, especially her daughter, Emmylou.
