Dr. Stephanie Anne Lubin, DPM, began her career path at Boston University on a pre-med track, graduating with a Bachelor of science as a Human Physiology major and a Kinesiology minor. During her education, She participated in research at Harvard University regarding the initiation and survival in acute kidney injury. Dr Lubin further pursued her interest in science by obtaining a Master of Biomedical Science and Forensics at Drexel University College of Medicine. A New York native herself, Dr. Lubin attended New York College of Podiatric Medicine in East Harlem, one of the oldest and most respected podiatric schools. Dr. Lubin attended a well-rounded comprehensive residency consisting of both medical and surgical training at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Lubin received extensive training in elective, reconstructive, and trauma surgery of the foot and ankle, wound care, and pediatric ailments and deformities. Her program included an orthopedic trauma rotation working closely with high-ranked and respected orthopedic surgeons. In the final year of her training, Dr. Lubin demonstrated her leadership as the only chief resident supervising and teaching 18 other residents.
As a runner and former division one soccer player, Dr. Lubin’s passion lies in the rehabilitation of sports injuries to the foot and ankle. Her biomechanical and surgical knowledge allows her to provide comprehensive treatment, returning patients back to their busy lives as quickly as possible. Dr. Lubin values strong personal relationships with her patients, treating them with love, respect, honesty, and professionalism. Dr. Lubin believes in empowering patients. She does this by providing them with a personalized and optimal plan including; a comprehensive diagnosis, one on one education, and a practical discussion of all treatment routes before proceeding.
Dr. Lubin recognizes the impact foot and ankle pain has on total body wellness and how that can influence the ability to exercise, lose weight, or stay healthy. She believes in allowing patients to create a new standard of living and a lifestyle that paves the way for head-to-toe health by focusing on the foundation of the foot. It is her firm belief that the key to total body health and beauty starts at the foot. Dr. Lubin’s personal hobbies include distance running, soccer, dancing, weight training, and spending time with her family, friends, and two Shiba Inus, Nala, and Simba.
