Dr. McMurray graduated from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and served his residency in orthopedic surgery at Tulane University. He has been practicing medicine for more than two decades, and has become a leading expert in orthopedic surgery in Kansas City. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, and has received the CMS Meaningful Use Stage 1 Certification from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services three years in a row. Among Dr. McMurray’s areas of specialization are arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder-including rotator cuff repair-and Carpal Tunnel Release, to name just a few. He has extensive experience performing procedures such as meniscectomies, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, shoulder debridement, and more.
