Dr. Croley is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with expertise in hip and knee total joint replacements, revision total joint replacements, and fracture management. He has a special interest in minimally invasive total joint replacement surgery including anterior total hip replacements and partial knee replacement surgery.
As a native Texan, Dr. Croley grew up in the Hill Country where he graduated #2 in his high school class and was voted “Most Likely To Succeed” by his peers. He attended The University of Texas at Austin and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. While at UT, he earned the distinction of being a Dean’s Honored Graduate , which is the highest honor awarded to graduating seniors with an invitation to sit on stage for commencement ceremonies. Dr. Croley then attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society as one of the top 10 students in the class. He pursued an orthopedic surgery residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch and won numerous awards including a 1st place podium presentation for research presented at a Texas Orthopedic Association (TOA) Annual Meeting. Dr. Croley then had the opportunity for advanced specialty training in Adult Reconstruction in Royal Oak, Michigan. During his fellowship, he was involved in many research projects in the field of total joint replacement and co-authored a book chapter on partial knee replacement surgery.
Dr. Croley passed his written orthopedic surgery boards with a top 5% score nationally.
He is proud to be part of Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine and is currently performing surgeries at the Houston Methodist Clear Lake location (formerly known as Houston Methodist St. John Hospital). Dr. Croley is currently seeing clinic patients both at the Nassau Bay and League City locations.
Dr. Croley is married to his amazing wife Julie, who is currently a chief resident in dermatology at the University of Texas Medical Branch. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, golf, hunting, and spending time with friends and family.
