Dr. Pentz’s primary interest is now reconstructive adult surgery of both the hip and knee. Dr. Pentz, along with Dr. Papacostas, serve as team physicians for Central Catholic High School. Dr. Pentz has placed his focus in the advancement of joint reconstruction, namely joint replacement surgery in both the hip and the knee. He is committed to staying abreast of the most recent reconstructive techniques and information. On a personal side, Dr. Pentz is married and is the proud father of three grown boys. He is also a member of St. Michael’s Parrish. Dr. Pentz is an active pilot and enjoys outdoor activities, especially bicycling. 30 year resident of Stark County. Received his medical degree in a combined program at Youngstown State University and the Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine. He served his internship and residency at Akron City Medical Center now known as SUMMA Health System He is a founding member of OMNI Orthopaedics and is the current CEO
