Dr. Hansen attended Baker University in Baldwin City, KS for undergraduate before later receiving a medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed an orthopaedic surgery residency in Wichita with the University of Kansas School of Medicine where he was selected as chief resident.
Dr. Hansen is fellowship-trained in total joint reconstruction by the Institute of Bone and Joint Disorders at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. In 2002 he joined the medical staff at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.
Much of Dr. Hansen's free time is spent with his wife and two sons. He also enjoys outdoor recreational activities.
