Dr. Luessenhop has been practicing since 1994 and has lived in northeastern Oklahoma since 1995. Prior to joining Utica Park Clinic, he cared for patients at Oakwood Orthopedics in Port St. Lucie, FL; Northeast Oklahoma Orthopedics in Claremore, OK and Warren Orthopedic Institute in Tulsa, OK.
Dr. Luessenhop graduated magna cum laude from Lafayette College in Easton, PA in 1981 earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. He graduated cum laude from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC in 1985. He completed his internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Department of Surgery in Philadelphia, PA where he then completed his residency in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He completed a comprehensive arthritis fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, NY and is now a member of the Hospital for Special Surgery Alumni Association. Dr. Luessenhop is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Tulsa County Medical Society.
He served our country in the United States Navy and received the Navy Commendation Medal for his service in Rota, Spain in 1993. Dr. Luessenhop’s personal interests include participating in Boy Scouts of America.
