Dr. Michael H. McGuire, Orthopedic Surgeon and former Professor of Surgery at Creighton University School of Medicine joined Columbus Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Clinic in 2011.
An Iowa native, Dr. McGuire received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Creighton
University in Omaha. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery from St. Louis University Medical School and an American Cancer Society Clinical fellowship in Orthopedic Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.
Prior to his academic position at Creighton, Dr. McGuire held academic positions at Harvard Medical School and St. Louis University. He is
a published author in both medical journals and textbooks and has been a guest speaker at numerous medical symposiums and conferences.
Dr. McGuire practices orthopedic surgery with emphasis in trauma and tumors of the muscular skeletal system.
