Dr. LaPorta has been in practice for 40 years and his multi-specialty practice serves as a tertiary referral center for foot and ankle deformity. Dr. LaPorta specializes in fracture repair, peripheral nerve surgery, peripheral nerve stimulation implantation, charcot foot and ankle reconstruction, and Total Ankle Replacement. Dr. LaPorta is Past Chairman, Department of Surgery, Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine; Past President, American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery; Past President, Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association; President, Pennsylvania Foot and Ankle Society. He holds Fellowship status in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and American College of Podiatric Medicine. He is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine.
