Zachary W. Sisko, M.D. is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacements, including total hip replacement using the direct anterior approach and partial knee replacements. He has a particular interest in revision total joint arthroplasty, management of infected total joint replacements and treatment of fractures.
Dr. Sisko earned his medical degree at the St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo., and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Chicago in Chicago, Ill., serving as chief resident. He completed his fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstructive surgery at London Health Sciences Centre and the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada.
He has written multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals focusing on hip and knee arthroplasty and presented his work on the nation and international level. He holds memberships with the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is part of the American Orthopaedic Association’s Emerging Leaders Program.
