Dr. Stanfield has been in practice at The Center for Orthopedics since 1997. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement, sports medicine and arthroscopy. Throughout his career, Dr. Stanfield has continued to focus on joint replacement. He has studied various advanced techniques, which enables him to provide his patients with the system that most closely fits their individual anatomy. He was on the forefront of robotic surgery and has been involved with this technology for over 10 years.
He is a member of The Ohio State Medical Association, the Cleveland Orthopaedic Society and the Lorain County Medical Society. He has served as director for the Center for Bone and Joint Reconstruction at UH Elyria Medical Center of 10 yearsand is chairman of the Department of Orthopedics at UH EMC.
Dr. Stanfield was raised in Vermilion, which is about 10 miles from The Center for Orthopedics. He received his doctor of medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency and general surgery internship at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
