Dr. Adam Burzynski is a Fellowship trained sports medicine orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder including ACL injuries, shoulder instability, and rotator cuff repair. Additionally, Dr. Burzynski has received advanced training for total knee replacements with a focus on uni-compartmental (partial-knee) replacement.
Dr. Burzynski holds a B.S. degree in Biochemistry from the University at Buffalo. He attended medical school at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, and completed his orthopaedic surgical residency at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Burzynski completed a highly specialized sports medicine fellowship training program at the University at Buffalo. During his medical training Dr. Burzynski served at the assistant team physician for the Buffalo Bills (NFL) and the Buffalo Sabres (NHL) as well as tournament physician for professional beach volleyball (AVP).
Dr. Burzynski was born in Wroclaw, Poland. He moved to the United States at age four where he grew up in Kenmore, NY. Dr. Burzynski played volleyball at UB, and spent some time in Australia playing for the University of Sydney. He is an avid snowboarder and a professed chicken wing connoisseur.
Dr. Burzynski resides in downtown Buffalo and is excited to provide the highest level of orthopaedic and sports medicine care to all of his patients in the Western New York area.
Dr. Burzynski will see patients at our Amherst and Niagara Falls office and is currently accepting new patients
