Dr. Womack received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Kansas, Department of Orthopaedics in Wichita, KS.
During his surgical residency, he served as resident liaison to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons national board in 2008-2010. In addition, Dr. Womack served as representative to the resident oversight committee and to the Flint Oak total joint conference. He presented research to a number of prominent Orthopaedic Research Society Meetings in Louisiana, Kansas and Arizona.
As a member of the USA National Freestyle Wrestling Team during his undergraduate years at Stanford University and the University of Southern Colorado, Dr. Womack has developed a special interest in orthopedics as it relates to sports medicine. He enjoys helping young athletes stay healthy as they strive to reach their competitive goals and helping more mature weekend warriors stay fit and injury-free.
Dr. Womack enjoys hunting, fishing, running and woodworking during his free time.
