Arthroscopic Surgery and Sports Medicine - Washington University School of Medicine
Dr. Dewan is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon. After receiving world class orthopedic surgical training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, he completed a fellowship in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine at the Washington University School of Medicine. While in training, he was awarded the “Most Outstanding Researcher” award. He sought additional professional experience next with the Baltimore Orioles, and later with the St. Louis Rams and St. Louis Blues. When an opportunity to join the growing practice at Houston Methodist Sugar Land arose, it was an easy decision for him to return home. He is excited to be back serving his local community.
Dr. Dewan’s special interests include sports-related injuries of the knee, shoulder, elbow, ankle, and hip. He is familiar with the latest arthroscopic and arthroplasty techniques. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
