Brian Perkinson, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2007, followed by a residency at Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics in Memphis, TN. He completed fellowship training in adult reconstruction; total and partial joint replacement at the Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic in Alexandria, VA. Dr. Perkinson has a degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
He is a member of the American Board of Orthpaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Perkinson is a native of Franklin. He and his wife Christine have one daughter and a rescued Labrador retriever. Outside of the operating room, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, and experiencing other cultures through travel.
