Direct anterior approach
Dr. Woyski was born and raised in northwest Missouri. He graduated from Mid-Buchanan High School in Faucett, MO after which he completed his undergraduate studies at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, MO earning degrees in biochemistry and molecular biology. He attended medical school at Kansas City University where he was also selected for a year long research fellowship in anatomy. Dr. Woyski completed his orthopedic residency in Oklahoma City and was selected for a prestigious hip preservation and reconstruction fellowship program at Duke University. Here he learned state of the art techniques focused on complex direct anterior total hip replacement (DAA), primary and revision hip arthroscopy, femoral osteotomies, surgical hip dislocation and periacetabular osteotomy (PAO). He is one of a handful of surgeons in the country that performs post-less hip arthroscopy and even fewer that perform both arthroscopic and open hip preservation procedures. Dr. Woyski’s practice also focuses on general orthopedic trauma, hip and knee sports medicine as well as primary and revision hip and knee replacements. His research interests include hip instability, femoral osteotomies and combined hip arthroscopy and periacetabular osteotomies. In his spare time he enjoys hiking and biking trails with his family.
