Dr. Burkhart earned a medical degree and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Northern Ontario School of Medicine in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He completed fellowships in arthroplasty and trauma at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Ontario.
“I chose orthopedic surgery as a specialty because of the immediate positive impact it can have on a patient’s quality of life,” explains Dr. Burkhart. “Helping patients regain their mobility and ability to return to work or activities they enjoy is very rewarding.”
