She specializes in knee & shoulder arthroscopy with expertise in ACL injuries, patella instability, cartilage restoration, and shoulder instability. Dr. Wiggins is also an expert in knee and shoulder replacement surgery and performs robotic-assisted joint replacement to ensure a personalized patient experience.
Dr. Wiggins and her team provide women of all ages comprehensive orthopaedic care. Her center focuses on surgical and non-surgical orthopaedic treatment, patient-specific physical therapy, ACL injury prevention, nutrition, and behavioral health services.
As a Division I student-athlete at the University of Louisville, Dr. Wiggins was a skilled soccer player and rower, earning All-American honors throughout college. Unsurprisingly, it was Dr. Wiggins' own ACL reconstructions as a competitive collegiate athlete that sparked her passion for pursuing medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Wiggins enrolled in the A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
She went on to complete a residency for orthopaedic surgery at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. With a keen interest in sports medicine, Dr. Wiggins went on to complete a prestigious sports medicine fellowship with Wellington Orthopaedic Sports Medicine / University of Cincinnati. During her time as a fellow, she authored an award-winning paper on the risk of secondary ACL injury in young athletes.
Dr. Wiggins truly enjoys giving back to her community, serving as team physician for West Clermont High School, Western Brown High School, Eastern High School, and the Clermont Crew. She is also involved with the medical care of the Cincinnati Ballet and FC Cincinnati. Dr. Wiggins is an associate professor with A.T Still University and continues to give back to the medical community by mentoring local high school students through a Medical Explorer program.
When she's not seeing patients, Dr. Wiggins enjoys time with her husband and two sons. She continues to live an active lifestyle that includes hiking, yoga, rowing, and biking. Her athletic pursuits keep her in touch with the local sports community and athletes of all ages.
