A native of Arkansas, Dr. Scott Smith attended the University of Arkansas for his undergraduate education as well as his medical degree, which he earned in 1998. After completing his residency in orthopaedic surgery in 2003 at the University of Tennessee Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Dr. Smith moved to Arkansas to join Conway Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Clinic.
Dr. Smith specializes in knee, shoulder, and hip replacements. He has extensive experience in arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder and knee, including rotator cuff repair and ACL reconstruction. He is also skilled at mini-incision carpal tunnel release.
Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Smith is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and has served as president of the Arkansas Orthopaedic Society. He is also a member of the Arkansas Medical Society and the Faulkner County Medical Society.
Dr. Smith is married with two children.
