Dr. Chimenti was born in Houston and graduated MAGNA CUM LAUDE from Clear Lake High School. He received his Bachelors Degree from The University of Texas, at Austin with high honors, earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and completed his residency at The University of Colorado- Denver. He performed Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Training with team physicians from Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, and The University of Colorado Buffalos. He has served as team physician for numerous high schools from 1994 to present.
Dr. Chimenti’s practice encompasses all aspects of orthopedics, but specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee. He also has a strong interest and commitment to knee and hip joint replacement/reconstruction. He stays on the cutting edge of this technology.
Dr. Chimenti has served multiple years as Chief of Orthopedic Surgery and Co-Chairs The Joint Center for Memorial Hermann Hospital The Woodlands. He has been recognized as a Texas Super Doctor by Texas Monthly as well as nominated for Physician of the Year at Memorial Hermann. He has received numerous Patient’s Choice Awards and Compassionate Doctor Awards.
